The training programme for the Verification Team and Supervisors engaged for verification of beneficiaries under 'Orunodoi Scheme' in connection with celebration of ‘Orunudoi Month’ launched by the Government of Assam to meet the health and nutritional needs of women from poor families and provide some financial assistance for their medical expenses was held today at the District Library, Nagaon. The event was attended by Hon'ble Minister of Finance, Women and Child Development, Government of Assam Smt Ajanta Neog, Hon'ble MLA of Nagaon Sadar Constituency Shri Rupak Sharma, Hon'ble MLA of Barhampur Constituency Shri Jitu Goswami, Hon'ble MLA of Raha Constituency Shri Shashi Kant Das. The event was also attended by the Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon Shri Narendra Kumar Shah, Shri Arup Kumar Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Nagaon Zila Parishad, Sri Udayaditya Gogoi, District Development Commissioner, Nagaon , teachers and students of various colleges and officials of PNRD.
